Situated in the Peak National Park, The Plough Inn is ideally situated as a base from which to explore this beautiful part of Derbyshire.

Close by are the Stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

Castleton, with its many caves and caverns and the world famous Blue John Mine is only a short distance away.

Amongst many other places of interest in the locality is the plague village of Eyam and the market town of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Puddings.
